چکیده
This paper discusses the development of an information extraction system for maternal health records. Current investigated maternal health records that exist in hospitals are written in a long and detailed paragraphs in text documents. Information extraction processes unstructured, natural language text, such as maternal health records, to extract useful information from the text. MaMIE (Maternal Medical Information Extraction) System is designed to extract information from medical narratives obtained from De La Salle University Medical Center (DLSUMC) in Dasmarinas, Cavite. MaMIE System is composed of seven modules namely Text Zoner, Sentence Splitter, POS Tagger, Named-Entity Recognizer, Preparser, Coreferencer and Semantic Interpreter. An Obstetric Gynecologist from DLSUMC defined the fields of the template. The system was tested over 12 documents with the results of 87.39% Precision, 86.74% Recall and 87.06% Fmeasure.

INTELLIGENT TECHNIQUE OF CANCELING MATERNAL ECG IN FECG EXTRACTION
In this paper, we propose a technique of artificial intelligence called adaptive neuro fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) for canceling maternal electrocardiogram (MECG) in fetal electrocardiogram extraction (FECG).This technique is used to estimate the MECG present in the abdominal signal of a pregnant woman. The FECG is then extracted by subtracting the estimated MECG from the abdominal signal. P...

Requirements elicitation step is of paramount importance in the requirements engineering process. In the distributed environment of so-called inter-company cooperative information system, this step is a thorny issue. To elicit requirements for an inter-company cooperative information system, we early proposed a methodology called MAMIE (from MAcro to MIcro level requirements Elicitation) with a...
متن کاملMaternal common mental disorders and infant development in Ethiopia: the P-MaMiE Birth Cohort
BACKGROUND Chronicity and severity of early exposure to maternal common mental disorders (CMD) has been associated with poorer infant development in high-income countries. In low- and middle-income countries (LAMICs), perinatal CMD is inconsistently associated with infant development, but the impact of severity and persistence has not been examined. METHODS A nested population-based cohort of...
متن کاملInternal validity of the Swedish Maternal Health Care Register
BACKGROUND The Swedish Maternal Health Care Register (MHCR) is a national quality register that has been collecting pregnancy, delivery, and postpartum data since 1999. A substantial revision of the MHCR resulted in a Web-based version of the register in 2010. Although MHCR provides data for health care services and research, the validity of the MHCR data has not been evaluated. This study inve...
